The Donald R. Broderick Memorial Scholarship at Manhattan College was established in memory of Donald R. Broderick by his family and friends. Don was an alumnus of Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains NY, and graduated Manhattan College in 1986. At Manhattan, Don wore #66 as a 4-year member of the football team and was a beloved brother in the Alpha Sigma Beta fraternity.
The recipient of the scholarship will be a person of high ethical and moral standards who manifests superior effort in college preparatory studies and is in the top half of his/her high school class. In the event there is more than one highly-qualified candidate, preference may be given to a student from Archbishop Stepinac High School or from the Metropolitan Catholic High School League who has participated in high school athletics.
