About the
Donald R. Broderick Memorial Scholarship
The Donald R. Broderick Memorial Scholarship fund at Manhattan College was started "in lieu of flowers" to honor the memory of Donald R. Broderick, who was lost to us all too soon following his graduation from Manhattan College in 1986.  In naming this site "Jasper66", we honor Don and the number "66" which he wore as a 4-year member of the Manhattan College Jaspers Football team.

The fund, an endowed scholarship, has raised more than $1 Million dollars and given out well over $350,000 in scholarship funds since its inception.  The fund has provided many graduates and multiple current students with the opportunity for a Manhattan College education.

Our ultimate goal is to grow the endowment to $2,000,000 which would provide a partial scholarship each year to a freshman, sophomore, junior and senior.

A fundraising golf outing and dinner is held annually in the fall at the Westchester Hills Golf Club in White Plains, NY.
